How to import photos or images into a FotoAlbum
- Open the FotoAlbum into which you wish to import
the photos File >> Open FotoAlbum You
can also open a FotoAlbum by double-clicking on it
when it is visible in Windows Explorer.
- Select the menu item Import >> Import photos
from directory and a dialog will appear.
- A dialog is now displayed that is similar to Windows
Explorer - select the drive and folder that contains
the files to be imported. Note that a camera is simply
another "disk drive" to Windows.
- Press the List Photos button. This will show
all the files that can be imported. If you had selected
an entire disk drive, for example, this process can
take some time as many thousands of files and folders
would need to be considered.
- Press the Import photos button. If there
are a large number of photos, this can take some time.
- Press the Done button and the FotoAlbum will
display the imported photos.
Note
An entire disk drive ( C:\ ) can be selected and
it will be scanned and the JPeg images can then
be imported. This allows you to clean out unwanted,
or compromising, images.
