How to limit what recipient of FotoAlbum can do with it

  1. Start up FotoSaver or, if it is already running, close the current FotoAlbum by selecting File >> Close
  2. Select the menu item File >> New FotoAlbum - a dialog opens
  3. At the bottom of this dialog are 4 possible ways in which manipulation of the contents of the new FotoAlbum may be limited.
  4. Click on the appropriate radio buttons for stopping the printing of photos, the export of photos, the import of photos and, the editing of the text in the FotoAlbum
  5. Press the OK button (you can also use the password option as described here).
  6. In the dialog now displayed, select the folder into which you wish this FotoAlbum file to reside and the name of this new FotoAlbum and then press the Create button - an empty FotoAlbum will be created
  7. A dialog is displayed asking whether you wish to import photos/images into this FotoAlbum. Press the Yes button
  8. A dialog is now displayed that is similar to Windows Explorer - select the drive and folder that contains the files to be imported. Note that a camera is simply another "disk drive" to Windows.
  9. Press the List Photos button. This will show all the files that can be imported. If you had selected an entire disk drive, for example, this process can take some time as many thousands of files and folders would need to be considered.
  10. Press the Import photos button. If there are a large number of photos, this can take some time.
  11. Press the Done button and the FotoAlbum will display the imported photos.
